Study – Henry Ford Health System
Dr. Morse wanted to share this study with you.
The study from Henry Ford Health System (from 2020) in Michigan looked at 18,468 kids born 2000–2016. It compared those who did not receive vaccines vaccines (1,957 kids) to those who got at least one (16,511 kids). Using medical records, researchers tracked chronic conditions like asthma, allergies, and developmental delays.
Main Conclusion: Vaccinated kids had a 2.5 times higher risk of any chronic health issue (HR 2.54). At age 10, 83% of unvaccinated kids were chronic-disease-free, vs. just 43% of vaccinated ones. No added risks for cancer, autism, seizures, or food allergies.
Specific Risks Linked to Vaccines:
- Asthma: 4.3x higher
- Allergies/atopic diseases: 3x higher
- Autoimmune issues: 4.8x higher
- Eczema: 1.3x higher
- Neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., speech delays): 5.5x higher
- Ear infections: 7x higher
The study adjusted for factors like gender, race, and prematurity. Sensitivity checks confirmed results.
